heh..it is true..that if a forum has to many members and not enough staff to enforce common rules..chaos will ocurr and ditriation of the forum will begin rapidly...
usually its good to have a steady flow of members in so that everyone can slowly get to know each other...and you wouldn't need has many staff cause everyones cool...but still some forums do get huge amount of members a day in their starting days..and it can really kill a site..if their isn't enough staff...
and their should be a good staff member to member ratio..yes math...but still its pretty easy..just count the number of active members....or a good guess...then cut it up..so that each staff handles a certain amount of people..if the numbers to high..add more trust worthy serious staff members...and the members will shapen up...
but having more staff then members isn't...smart..there should be more members then staff..always...not to many..but like depending on the site age..a good normal number i would guess would be 50-100 active members to a staff memebr if the site is hugely active..and if its still not working..keep cutting the ratios..and add more staff...
like in this site..since its new..and not many members...having 3-5 staff would be good...maybe more maybe less...because since its new..it doesn't really matter....but..yea..your leader kinda whet crazy killing off staff....unless there was a good reason..its better to keep staff for the future...then just kick a few..then hire a few later....
i feel like i just rambled and repeated myself
